The cracks and bleached membranes record the history of each of these leaves. Their story held in their fibers.

The Space Between Us considers the hope and beauty found in the togetherness of the unveiled fragility of our lives and appeared in a solo show titled born blind.

The show ended after five months with viewers dismantling the work by taking the prints with them.

born blind: The pain, sorrow, and hurt of the human experience touches all of us. You can’t outrun, out-pay, or outsmart it. So we look for someone to blame. We look for someone or something else to bear the responsibility for the cracks in our lives, for the suffering we all live with, for the pain that comes with seeing those we love hurt.
